Insituto Cervantes offers a wide range of specialized Spanish Courses for various levels.

Speaking a foreign language isn´t just about having a dominion of the grammatical rules and structure of the language. Its about communication, being able to interact, exchange and interpret information. In this course, students will become familiar the principles of communication and interaction in Spanish.
Objectives of the course:
* Students will be able to understand the ways in which the Spanish language is used in different situations.
* Identify the linguistic characteristics of colloquial Spanish in both written and oral form.
* Analyze the communicative strategies and tactics of everyday Spanish conversation.
This 30 hour course deals with texts of various subjects and styles. The course will focus on the translation of these texts giving students the opportunity to reinforce the tools necessary to improve their translation skills as well as the space to clarify any doubts in phrasing, syntax and grammar.
Specialized Spanish Courses for Professionals: We offer custom designed courses for organizations in different career fields, such as health, law, education, banking and business that use Spanish in their daily work situations.
Conversation Classes: These courses provide opportunities for students to practise talking in Spanish and improve their Spanish proficiency overall.
Spanish & Latin American Literature & Cultural Classes: These courses explore Spanish and Latin American Literature and Culture.
Spanish Online Classes: The Spanish Virtual Classroom (Aula Virtual de Español) is an Internet based tool set up to provide Spanish instruction online. Online classes are also offered for children from 5 - 11 years of age.
Spanish for families (Mommy & Me): This program is designed to meet the creative needs of children from 1 - 5 while they learn Spanish. Games, songs, multimedia as well as arts and crafts will encourage children to develop their communication skills. Children are accompanied by a parent.
Grammar Classes: These classes help students learn and reinforce their Spanish Grammar in order to help them use it correctly when speaking Spanish. The goal of the course to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge and application of the language. Our grammar classes are held on Saturday mornings.
DELE Preparation: This short course focuses on exam preparation for the DELE Diploma (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera).
